Creative Staff Wellbeing

Made in the NHS: creative wellbeing workshops for UHDB staff

A programme of creative workshops which enables staff opportunities to come together , share skills and gain wellbeing through different art practices. They are a wonderful way for staff to have a different experience in the workplace and gain confidence in creativity.  Each workshop is led by a professional Artist and are designed for participants with all abilities to take part.

Art forms include willow weaving, ceramics, glassmaking, printmaking, metal embossing, silk painting, wire working, book nook creating, wreath making, sculpture, jewellery making, painting, and textiles. Workshop contents are often inspired by specific themes such as the Festive workshop programme.    Participants have had opportunities to exhibit their work in our hospital sites and in the past have also shown their work at The Museum of Making, Derby.
